Zero Fill

Zerofill takes a dataset and adds zeroes to the end. Available here.

y = ZEROFILL (y)
y = ZEROFILL (y,par)
[x,y] = ZEROFILL (x,y,par)

Inputs:

input1 – y – the data set input2 – par – the paramter to extend by one of:

  • ‘double’ (default)
  • percentage ie. the string ’10’
  • total data points ie. 1024

Outputs:

output1 – y

a zero filled dataset

output2 – x

a linearly extrapolated dataset of length matching y

Example syntax:

y = ZEROFILL (y,'double')
y = ZEROFILL (y,'100%')
y = ZEROFILL (y,1024)

Worked Example:

[x,y] = SpecManRead ('some/folder/file.spc')
[x2,y2] = zerofill (x,y,'double')
plot(x,y,x2,y2)
